If you are like me, then you love a good refreshing juice in the morning! I have suffered gut issues and was trying to find ways to help detox my body. I absolutely love the taste of fresh pressed juices, but I do NOT love the price. For a large green juice, it cost me anywhere from 10-18$. It is insane! So I decided to make my own, and it did not disappoint! This is best stored in a glass mason jar or sealable glass container for no more than 3 days.
The best part about this recipe is you can use a juicer or blender. It is easy to make and I got about 6 full juices to about the price of 1. What is great about juicing, is you can customize it to be any flavor you want. If you have left over produce, it is great to throw in your juice! For my juice, I use spinach or a spinach/kale mixture, pineapple, honey crisp apples, cucumber, celery, ginger, and turmeric!
All you do is juice the produce and pour in about 1 cup raw mixture and dilute with about 1 cup of water or coconut water. If you are blending, blend with a small amount of water and strain. Then add preferred water or coconut water. I like the coconut water because it adds a sweetness to it and provides better electrolytes and hydration.
I felt my gut feeling less inflammed drinking this juice because of the ginger and turmeric. You get great amounts of vitamin A, B, and C. Some may argue you are not getting fiber. You can easily add some back in if that is a goal. It also is great for natural energy because it is natural sugar. So instead of caffeine, I drink this instead. 0 added sugar,
