Ingredients:
Sauce:
1 Diced Shallot
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp Butter
1 1/2 Tsp Each:b Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Cajun Seasoning
1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup Hot Sauce (I used Louisiana)
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 Cup Freshly Grate Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Salmon:
2-4 Salmon Filets
1 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
Pasta of Choice
Instructions:
Season your salmon filets to your liking. In a nonstick skillet, cook your salmon. This takes about 15 minutes total. When your salmon is cooked, remove from pan and keep warm.
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp of butter and your diced shallot and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Next, add your seasonings, tomato paste, and hot sauce. Reduce the heat to low and pour in your heavy cream.
Let this simmer on low as it thickens. Sprinkle in your parmesan cheese and lemon juice. If your sauce is too thin, you can either add pasta water or a little cornstarch and water to thicken it up.
Toss in your aldente pasta and let the pasta soak up the sauce. Cook for 5 minutes. Coat all of the noodles and top with your salmon. Add red pepper flake for extra heat and enjoy!
