Looking for an easy weeknight dinner? Look no further. This one pan pasta recipe is so easy, cheap to make, and fast. This recipe will take you under 30 minutes to make. If you like fast recipes, then this is the one for you! Plus it is extremely easy to clean up! This creamy cheesy beef penne is the perfect weeknight dinner!

First, we want to chop up some onion and garlic. Sauté in a pan on medium to high heat with some oil. Next add your 1 lb of ground beef. You can also use ground turkey for this recipe as well if you do not like beef!

Season your beef with a blend of 1 tablespoon of each of the following: salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, and paprika. Once your seasoned your beef, mix it up and add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Really get the beef nice and coated. For a pop of freshness, I added 1/4 cup of fresh diced Roma tomatoes.

Next, add 1 -1 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. To that, add 1/2 block or 4 oz of cream cheese. Add 3/4 cup of your shredded cheese. This will help thicken your sauce! I used a mix of mozzarella and white cheddar.

Lastly, toss in your cooked penne pasta and give it a nice mix. Garnish with a little basil and parmesan cheese and enjoy.

This is the third one of your recipes I’ve tried to make, and it was sooo easy and turned out SO DELICIOUS!!!! And thank you for the tiktok/instagram videos! they helped newbie me understand what i was actually supposed to do.
I’ll definitely try to make more of your recipes!
This makes me so happy! This is exactly why I do what I do! Thank you for the kind words and I hope you will find more delicious recipes!
Staley,
This was absolutely amazing.
For the longest time I went without making any sort of cheezy foods for my lactose intolerant partner and tomatoes aren’t really my thing..
Skip to now and the world has lactaid pills so he can suffer no longer.
As well as I can put up with some tomatoes here and there.
So… this is the perfect mix for my guy and I. We actually used venison instead, as he hunts sometimes and it was sooooo goooooood.
I only have one question for you.
What is your pasta ratio? I absolutely put too much pasta in, and would just like your opinion, or maybe to add it on the recipe list.
I’m sure I could figure it out, but I wanted to ask the expert.
Thank you so much!
Mary
So glad you enjoyed this recipe Mary! I used about 3/4 of a regular box of pasta. If you are unsure, I suggest to start with half! There is never too much filling in my world. I truly eye ball most of my pasta portions, but I can tell you I did not use a whole box on this recipe! Hope this helps!
This was very good and quick 🙂
